AdWords Tips
Getting the right keywords for your Google AdWords campaign can be a nightmare.
Apart from being able to find the right keywords for your AdWords campaign, it can also become a laborious task to find the right keyword tool to use. Because there are so many free keyword tools available on the internet today.
So which one is the best to use?
I believe the answer lies within Google itself. Not because Google, stores keyword search results, but primarily because Google also has access to the keywords advertisers use in their campaigns. I have not come across a single online keyword tool that has the ability to do this.
But, why is this so important?
Well, because there are certain keyword terms that combined with the appropriate products or services will convert into sales every time. Finding these keywords is winning half the battle in an AdWords campaign. And this is where the beauty of the Google keyword tool comes into play.
The green status bar under the “Advertiser Competition” column indicates the popularity of certain keyword terms to advertisers. This means that keywords that have a higher popularity are being bid on by a bigger portion of the advertising group.
Think about that for a minute.
If advertisers are spending money on certain keywords more than others then there is a high probability that these keywords might be making money for them, otherwise they will be emptying their pockets of advertising spend faster than you can say “Will Robinson”.
Therefore, if other advertisers are converting their products into sales using a particular keyword then potentially you can too if your product or service is similar. Are you starting to get the picture?
However, the down side to this is that the bid price sky rockets because there’s so much advertiser competition.
Whilst this is true, a profitable campaign may still be profitable even if the cost per click is $1. If it costs me $1 per click and I make $5 dollars in return, then I am still 400% richer than I originally was.
That’s why to this day I still believe the free Google AdWords Tool rocks for Google PPC.
